Doane alum Callie Cox, a Journalism and Media graduate, just landed a job with “The Late Show with David Letterman.” She moves from Alma, Neb. to New York City on Sunday.
Callie will work with the Letterman audience, recruit people for shows, help book tickets, etc. In addition, she’s landed a part-time position with Praytell Strategy, the year-old Brooklyn public relations firm founded by fellow Doane alum Andy Pray, she said in a text message.
Callie served as an intern on the Letterman show in the summer of 2013.
She brings to three the number of recent Doane College student media alums who have moved to New York City to pursue media-related careers. Ziad Jaber, who is an associate producer at NBC News, also is a Doane alum.
